Early two day period but now feel bloated and crampy

Hi there, I'm not TTC but thought this was the right place to put this.

I came off the pill last month, had my withdrawal bleed as normal. I should be due on tomorrow night but I came on last Sunday night, so a week early. My period only lasted until Tues night and was very light. I didn't even know it was coming!

Today I have been incredibly bloated and irritated, like my period is due. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I had a pregnancy test lying around (as you do!) so tested around midday, with a negative result.

I am confused

Coming off the pill can really mess with your cycles, some women can have three periods in a month, others nothing for months until their cycle settles. Not everyone is regular straight away. When I came off the pill my periods were light and short for the first few months, it can also mimic pregnancy symptoms, I'd say test again in a few weeks, but if you're not TTC and are using protection I wouldn't worry too much, things should settle eventually.
