I have eaten prawns all the way through, I love them. Shelfish may be dangerous as it could cause food poisioning, If the prawns are well in date, stored correctly and from a reputable supplier there is no reason why they should cause a problem. eat and enjoy! If you are worried than cook them with a little lemon juice or garlic butter, hot they will def be fine.

I think, but you'd need to check that shelfish like peanuts is on the ADVISED NOT list if you have a history of allergies.
