Yes I had a positive OPK at about 10days PO I'm now 28 weeks Smile I kept on testing with OPKs as I couldn't quite believe it (I used a FRER too) and they were all positive X

Desmondo2016 · 30/07/2016 13:20

I'm not sure what you're asking. You've posted several positive tests. You're clearly pregnant so I'm really not sure what you're asking?

Sambamx · 30/07/2016 13:49

Because I am getting confused cause I am getting positives then negatives

Definite positives, stop testing now, work out how far along you are going by your last period and contact your GP on Monday to ask about their process. As a pp said most places don't need a GP referral and it's self referral to the midwife but your GP surgery will let you know. Congratulations.

Sambamx · 30/07/2016 17:21

But I've tested again and it's negative?? :(

Stop testing!

If you have had a positive test and read the result as positive within the timescale it is highly likely you are pregnant, ignore anything that comes up after 10 minutes and check your morning urine only as the HCG will be strongest, otherwise if you are drinking lots it can show as negative as it becomes diluted especially in these early days

Sambamx · 30/07/2016 17:51

Sorry I know it's very frustrating I know it's very early as I am only a few days late it's just driving me crazy as I know it's very unlucky you can't get a false positive I've had some water and Diet Coke so today I am just getting myself worked up so I am going to stop for a few days

Agree with above, stop testing, those internet cheapies are notoriously shite. A line is a line, call the GP and get advice on your area re:appts.

There really is no point in continuously testing, I done it with Internet cheapies for about 2 weeks after my positive tests and spent forever agonising over the line being darker or not, it was like torturing myself. Once id read that you can still get a positive for weeks after a miscarriage I stopped testing. Im obviously not suggesting for a second you're miscarrying, just pointing out that all this testing could end up going against you if something were to happen,

As a pp said what will be will be, pregnancy is really scary and there's a risk something could happen throughout the whole term, it's a really anxious time so you need to just concentrate on keeping yourself healthy and calm even though it sounds like the last thing you'll be able to do. Once the first 12 weeks are out the way it does get quicker. Good luck!

FATEdestiny · 30/07/2016 19:01

You need to stop testing Flowers

Give it until Monday and if no AF then go and buy a better quality pregnancy test and test in the morning. Just once.

Sambamx · 30/07/2016 19:04

I am only 3 days late so it's mega early so I am going to try and wait I know all the stresses that come with it I've already got a 11 month old at home I didn't get dark positives until 4-6 weeks only got my iud out a month ago so If ive conceived I'll be over the moon if not I'll try again just hoping my test is positive but thank you all for your advice will update you all when know what's going on X

I had my positive 5 days before my period was due so 3 days late is absolutely okay for a positive - which you have.

Stop stressing OP, you're pregnant! Flowers

Sambamx · 30/07/2016 19:54

Thank you just a nerve racking time :( makes you act crazy haha

Yeh just going to wait and see still no sign of AF and still getting positive OPK and faint lines on HPT I was told that the digital ones aren't that reliable so i am just stopping testing and waiting until AF shows got all the symptoms etc if it doesn't happen this month sure it'll happen next I am hopeful got a Beautiful 1 year old son already X

sam26x · 05/08/2016 20:46

Hi all just a wee update so looks like a CP I've had as kept getting positives then negatives :( AF finally came after 10 days so I wondering when I'll next ovulate? My app says fertile window is in 11 days any Advice xx

FATEdestiny · 06/08/2016 12:03

Ah well, maybe next month

I guess the lesson learnt is to not pregnancy test with your cheapys, the false positives mess with your mind.

Might be worth considering how reliable they are around ovulation, given the consistency of the errors you've had with them.

Assuming you don't normally have a long cycle like this, then I'd expect a more normal length cycle so usual ovulation this cycle. If you sometimes do have very long cycles, then it is harder to tell when you'll ovulate next cycle.

Good luck!
