Hi there, my husband and I are planning a trip this autumn to Myanmar/bhutan or Sri Lanka which are all low risk malaria areas BUT there is some risk so I'm trying to find out if it's safe to take anti-malarials while also trying to conceive/being pregnant. Thanks!

Paludrine was the only one my Dr would recommend for me when I was pregnant in a malarial area (5 years ago). It's less effective than other anti malarials (I think 75%) though so make sure you cover up and use repellent, especially in the evenings!
