Check up appointments at 36 weeks?

I am 36 weeks and I have one more consultant appointment before my EL on the 8th August. I saw my midwife last week but I have just read that I should be seen weekly from now on. Is this right? So another check the week after next?

If first baby, 36, 38, 40, 41 weeks from now unless you're being seen for other reasons. Subsequent babies 36, 40, 41 weeks
