Rant!
My sense of smell of driving me crazy and making life rubbish!!
I'm 9 weeks and my sense of smell has been really sensitive (usual pregnancy stuff) since before I even got my bfp....but it's getting more sensitive SadSad it's making everything unbearable.....house smells, kitchen/bin/fridge, dh's breath (!!), his deodorant, food, the car, the bedrooms (open windows every day and shampoo'd carpets, changed beds, air freshener!!!)........even fresh air sometimes......AAAGGGHHH ConfusedEnvyShockHmm

Sorry for the rant.....I'm sure someone can relate!! I'm praying it settles down soon, before I throw up and peg my nose!!

I'm 4 months past my first pregnancy and the good news is I've now blanked how bad the smells are. I couldn't go into the kitchen, was unable to go into a grocery store and any restaurant/shop where food was being prepared I had to stand outside for 5 mins to brace myself before entering and then half the time had to run back out again.

Oh and re DH smelling bad, mine vapes and I'm pretty sure that was what made my life hell for a couple of months. We didn't share a bed from about week 7-15 of pregnancy and on a few occasions he accidentally wandered near me and I immediately ran to the bathroom to be sick. In the car I had to face the other way from him with the window down (in scotland in winter). I felt so horrible, but obviously there was nothing I could do about it, and he was such a trooper following me around the house (at a safe distance) with a bucket should I be inclined to retch into it. Interestingly my dog, who is a puddle loving giant mass of filth didn't bother me at all!!!

I can totally relate... I spent £110 on having the sofas shampoos by a company because I couldn't even go in my living room.
I didn't enter our kitchen for three whole months and DH smelled really strong to me even if he'd had a shower!!
I could smell my step daughter was in the house even before I saw her because the fabric conditioner her mum uses and I couldn't even walk down or even eat a vegetable for over three months!!
It does wear off a bit hang on in there!!

I couldn't open the fridge or the larder cupboard for months
