Feeling a bit concerned, 3rd pregnancy not felt anything yet. On my 2nd I felt him from 14 weeks. Placenta not to the front or anything.
Have a Doppler and can hear heartbeat. Bit worried all the same.

I didn't feel my second until the 20 week scan, though my placenta was at the front. They only told me that at 20 weeks - have you got your scan booked in, or did you have an earlier one?

mamof32b · 18/07/2016 21:11

Thanks, yes have had 3 scans, everything fine at the time. Last one was 14weeks. Just concerned baby isn't growing as he/she should be. Next scan 24 weeks.

Do you have an anterior placenta? It takes longer to feel movement in that case. If you're worried though I'd call your midwife for reassurance.

I was 21/22 weeks with my 3rd before I felt any movement. I too thought I'd feel movement earlier. But once I started to feel strong movement I felt them all the time currently 37 weeks

mamof32b · 18/07/2016 21:24

No not an anterior placenta. I think I'm feeling swishes but not sure it's too fleeting, could be wishful thinking. Of course doctor Google isn't helping. Stay away from Google!

I didn't feel anything definite until 20 weeks this time around (first preg was 16 weeks).

21 weeks now and baby is definitely live and kicking in there.

Primaryteach87 · 18/07/2016 21:40

It's still pretty early. I really wouldn't worry until a few weeks time. I didn't feel anything with my first until 22-23 weeks.

WellErrr · 18/07/2016 21:40

I'm currently pregnant with my third and no movements until around 21/22 weeks. 17/18 with the others.

Don't stress.

AliceInHinterland · 18/07/2016 22:28

I think it's only the popping and swishes at that point anyway though (for me anyway) - they've still got a fair amount of room in there.
I know I was also heavier than with my first and I think the more weight you carry the less you feel (obviously no idea if that's the case for you!)

Thank you for your replies, probably over thinking it. Good to hear others experiences Smile

I worry relentlessly through every pregnancy... Wishing you all the best and a wonderful reassuring 23 week scan.
