As long as it came up within the time that is positive!

False positives are incredibly rare, false negatives are very common but not false positives.

It was clear 3 mins after then I checked an hour later and it was like this. Potentially not positive then? X

Not necessarily... if it came up within 10 minutes then it's probably a bfp. With this pg my first one (3weeks plus 6 days as it turned out) came up faint as faint can be in 14 minutes so I immediately did another and it came up in 7. An hour later I did another and it was glowing bfp lol! Do another ! (Im a bad influemce btw)

I can see a faint line. Best thing to do I have found is to test again after a day or two. Exciting and nerve wracking at the same time. These are my tests.

I wouldn't rely on this as you didn't check between the three minute mark and an hour later. Re test tomorrow morning.

False positives aren't as rare as you think, I kept getting positive results on pound shop tests for weeks yet I wasn't pregnant.

Try a different brand of test. Ones with pink or purple dyes like super drug own brand or first response don't tend to give false positives so you're more likely to get an accurate result. You really can only reliably test within the 3-5 minute window though.

If that pic is from an hour later it is likely to be an evaporation line. Try another tomorrow and see. Good luck getting the result you want

I did several other tests which all came out positive, a day later the lines were fading and I began bleeding, went to docs yesterday and had chemical pregnancy confirmed. So I am pregnant no longer. So upset! A day filled with total happiness followed by total devastation. 😥
