Best pregnancy book for DH?

Hi everyone, I am looking for a good pregnancy book for my husband. I had to explain to him what an ultrasound was last week so I think he needs to do some reading to get himself prepared for the rest of the pregnancy. Anyone got any recommendations?

Could also do with one for myself which isn't too overwhelming. Thanks

I got the Day by Day Pregnancy Guide which I've found really helpful.

I got OH the Haynes Manual on babies - it's lighthearted but has a decent amount of information in it.

Bump by Kate Evans is great - with lots of pictures. Also men, love and birth - it's by a male midwife and has been great for my husband (but it hasn't got info like what happens at scans).

Does he want to know more? If yes I'd advise he download apps. They sync with what stage of the pregnacy you're at so he can have up to date information as well as what's around the corner.
If no then he doesn't really need to study.

My DH is reading Pregnancy for Men which he is really enjoying. It is quite lighthearted but explains everything really well. I like that it gives the men tasks to do as well, it just emphasises being kind and sympathetic.

Thanks everyone. He does want to know more so I have ordered 'Pregnancy for Men', 'The Expectant Dad's Survival Guide' 'The Expectant Dad's Handbook' from the library. He is quite into technology so maybe an app is the way to go, I hadn't even thought about that! Thanks

Also seconding the 'men love and birth' book by midwife Mark Harris. I like the fact he recommends giving your pregnant OH lots of massages and orgasms. Now all I need to do is get my dh to read the bloody book!!

DH was planning to just go along with whatever the doctors or midwife said - no no no! I might be delirious with pain and won't have my head on straight so it's up to him to advocate and speak up for me. I quizzed him on a couple of things and he failed then I said I would fire him as my birth partner and hire a doula

My DH picked up the latest edition of 'What to expect when you are expecting'. It has everything from a month to month pregnancy guide to details on Labour and Postpartum care (including all about 1-4 degre tears, how to care for stitches, risks of C section and VB, etc). Huge book but actually quite informative
