Food poisoning

Just wondered if anyone has any advice about food poisoning. I think I ate sOme dodgy chucken on Friday night and last night had awful diarrhoea. Today can't go to the toilet and have bad tummy cramps. Am 15 +1, and wondered if anyone had been through anything similar and if you went to the doctors about it?

Thanks

I had at about 6 weeks, doctors advice (phoned in) was rest, drink as much as possible, and don't take anything like Imodium. I think you can take rehydration salts, but best to check. Baby was fine ;)

You poor thing!

I had a nasty stomach bug at 19 weeks (12 hours of puking and diarrhoea) - I drank as much water as I could keep down and sipped Dioralyte after every 'go'.

I called the doc and mw the next day, and both advised that I just rested and drank water.

That having been said, trust your instinct - if you're unsure, there's not a doctor or walk in centre in the land that wouldn't be happy to reassure you!

Thank you for the reassurance ladies!!! It's pretty awful but I think I'm on the mend now!
