I've been having ongoing gynae problems since the birth of DC3 in November, discovered a few weeks ago that I have a polyp in my womb, so haven't been tracking bleeding atall as its totally random atm
Haven't bled for a while now and I just thought - oh good, no blood!
For the last week or few days or so I've been feeling sick and lightheaded and a bit wobbly, so thought I was coming down with something or its stress
Only occured to me this morning that I should test
And yep - pregnant!

I have a very difficult 8 month old, 2 older DC, no money, no space in the house for the baby we have, a shit partner and I was told after my last baby that I wouldn't be able to deliver naturally again
And I'm pregnant

Just all of the fucks right now!!

Flowers what a shock.

Sorry about your shit partner, that's probably the hardest of the lot to deal with. Have you real life support op

NoCapes · 15/07/2016 09:20

Thankyou
I do, kind of, can't really tell anyone right now
DP will hit.the.roof, my mum will get all "oh my god I can't believe you've done this, you've got no money blalala" and the one friend that I would tell has recently moved to another city and started a new job
So I feel quite alone right now

So the logical thing to do is to tell all of the Internet ha

...could you all flock round me, stroke my hair and tell me it's all going to be alright now please?

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 15/07/2016 09:36

Somehow, it will all work out fine...

MyKingdomForBrie · 15/07/2016 09:36

it's going to be alright capes

Maybe ditch the twat though?

SoupDragon · 15/07/2016 09:37

First things first, you need to find out how pregnant you are so I guess you need a Doctor's appointment.

NoCapes · 15/07/2016 09:40

Thankyou Smile

Well, we go away for 2 weeks in the morning so nothing can happen until after that
I think I'll be needing a scan to determine dates though because I have literally no idea when I last bled

OP posts:
NoCapes · 15/07/2016 09:43

Oh just thought, will the polyp affect the pregnancy? They said I also have a 'blockage' in one of my Fallopian tubes and one swollen ovary...will any of this mean anything for the pregnancy?
clearly thinks MN is full of doctors

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 15/07/2016 09:44

Are you likely to continue with the pregnancy? Those 2 weeks might make a huge difference to your options if you are considering a termination. If you aren't,then it makes no difference.

Duckyneedsaclean · 15/07/2016 09:46

I think with the blockage of the fallopian tube, just be super aware of any pain while you're away - I think an ectopic would be more likely.

NoCapes · 15/07/2016 09:52

Thankyou Ducky

Soup I have absolutely no idea what I'm thinking atm Sad
The last time I asked DP to buy sanitary towels (I remember this being the last time I bled) was roughly around the first week in June, so this would make me what, 4 or 5 weeks gone?
I think
It might've been slightly before
Although I couldn't tell you the last time we had sex, that feels like it's been a really really long time
Argh!

OP posts:
NoCapes · 15/07/2016 10:42

Trying to decide whether I should tell DP or wait till we get back off holiday and have a stress free (from him) couple of weeks?

Desmondo2016 · 15/07/2016 11:37

I have nothing useful to add other than to say that the way you have written your post makes it clear you are a pretty cool, awesome person and therefore you will be fine. Major life fuck ups are my speciality!

NoCapes · 15/07/2016 11:46

Aww Desmondo Blush thankyou!!

Hawkmoth · 15/07/2016 11:50

My fourth was a massive surprise as well. I like to hold onto the fact that they can go in pairs when we go out in a few years...

Mooey89 · 15/07/2016 11:55

You've got three, what's one more? They can buddy up ;).

In all seriousness though, this is not the end of the world, it will be ok, and you do have options.

Could you consider termination?

soothing soothing soothe hair stroke

NoCapes · 15/07/2016 11:58

Hawkmoth we've debates with the idea of number 4 for that very reason, DS1 & DD are 19 months apart so going to theme parks/soft plays even just the playground is easier because they have a friend, and if one gets hurt in a soft play for example, the other runs to tell me
So they have a little buddy
DS2 however is 5 years younger than DD so we've always said he'll be like an only child so contemplated giving him a buddy too - then decided that that wasn't a reason to have a baby and all of the negatives of another outweighs him having a friend...shall I call it fate?

OP posts:
NoCapes · 15/07/2016 12:01

Mooey I would consider a termination
I think DP will really push for one
I had an abortion a few years ago, after DC2 and before DC3 and I still think of that baby every single day, cry for it every day and still absolutely hate myself for what I did
So I'm thinking when it comes down to it, I won't do it again

Nuggy2013 · 15/07/2016 12:05

I agree with Desmondo. You sound amazing and love your attitude toward this says someone whose been on verge of total nervo over minor shit all week

Going to borrow some of your attitude and wish you luck whatever you choose

NoCapes · 15/07/2016 12:34

Oh thankyou too Nuggy I thought I sounded a little bit hysterical, obviously not ey

You're all being so lovely, I might cry! I can blame hormones already can't I?

OP posts:
GlitteryFluff · 15/07/2016 12:46

If you don't want a termination, which it sounds like you don't, then don't have one.
You sound scared/nervous/panicky which I get, it's a big deal having another baby. But if you can handle 3, another will slot in.

Keep all clothes/shoes from youngest incase you have same sex baby and can reuse, that should save money.

NoCapes · 15/07/2016 13:28

Thankyou Glittery I'm feeling much calmer now I think
I've decided I'm not going to tell DP yet, going to have a calm holiday and get my head straight

Ps - holy shit I'm going to have 4 kids Shock

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 15/07/2016 13:39

So I'm thinking when it comes down to it, I won't do it again

That sounds like you're having a 4th then.

It will be fine. It may well be shit for a while but it will be fine!

I've had that freefall "oh shit!" feeling too - I fell pregnant with DC3 about a month after I'd decided to give up on having a third child and about a month before XH admitted to an affair and I threw him out. It all worked out in the end.

Good luck and have a great holiday :)

NoCapes · 15/07/2016 13:48

Yep I think I am aren't I

Wow sounds like you really went through it Soup bet you think I'm being a right drama llama

Thankyou all for the support

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 15/07/2016 16:00

Good lord no, I don't think you're a drama llama at all :)
