33+5 all my symptoms have changd

My mum is convinced I will go early now as this happened to her with me I was born at 37 weeks. I've had plenty of energy but insomnia now I'm shattered but sleeping all the time, I had been constipated the whole way through now going 2/3 times a day, I've been cleaning everything, I'm feeling sick again and my bump is looking much lower. Oh and lots of discharge sorry tmi.

She is really freaking me out tell me she's talking rubbish. I went over with my first and was induced.

Lots of these are common towards the end. It's your body adapting to the almost fully grown baby and yes, getting ready for labour, but it doesn't mean baby is imminent

My first was 4/5 engaged from 35 weeks and didn't come until 40+3! That was an comfortable 5 weeks walking around like I had a watermelon resting in my pelvis. Just keep on taking it easy and sleeping / relaxing while you can. Put your mind at ease by getting organised. Have you made a start on your bag? Do you know what to look out for / when to call your midwife unit? Have you had a read up of the stages of labour so you at least have a bit of an understanding of what your body will be doing?

I've calmed down now my lovely mother said this to me earlier while pointing out both her and MIL are on holiday and wouldn't it be a nightmare not having anyone for DS... thanks for that mum just what my raging hormones needed to hear
