I have a high bmi, due to that I was supposed to be on blood thining injections from 27 weeks. No one mentioned it and I didn't even know I needed them (3rd baby).

Anyway I had a consultant appointment at 34 weeks and she said I should have been on them, I refused and she offered me aspirin. She didn't tell me when to stop, I'm having a c section next week.

Anyway, Iv not really been taking them 🙊 I completely forgot and tbh I'm rubbish at taking tablets.

I feel awful. I'm not sure what to do? Shal
I start taking them? I'm lighter this pregnancy then I was with the other two.

Call your midwife and ask ASAP. Be honest and tell her you haven't followed the advice to take them either.

Just as a future note, medical advice isn't given for the amusement of the professionals, they generally have a good reason for the things they say.

I spoke to my midwife this morning and she laughed, said if you get a blood clot you can die.

I feel awful as it is.

Thing is I had seen midwife/consultant lots of times between 27/34 weeks and it was never mentioned
