Name Abel

We're really stuck on names for our second boy and Abe/Abel is the only one we both like... we didn't have the guts to use it first time round.

Do you think it's mean to call a child Abel? I really love it but worry about him being teased for being 'able' or not so able. Do you think it's a valid concern or am I overthinking?

Advice please!

I think it's a nice name. Seems to be coming more common after sons of anarchy. I say you go with a name you love. Kids could prob make a joke out of any name!

I know of 3 kids called Abel, from 3yrs to teens, it's a really nice name and the NN Abe sounds great. So many kids have 'different' names these days that I truly don't think this is one that will be mocked.

There was a baby Abel on Sons of Anarchy.

Love it! Go for it OP. And I think it will work equally well for a baby, child and adult.
