I'm 37 weeks, I'm exhausted. I can't get comfortable anywhere. My pelvis hurts if I have to walk further than about 3 yards or if I have to move after sitting still for a while. I can't concentrate on anything, my fingers are aching like a bastard. My feet are stolen and aching constantly. Every time I stand up I feel like the bottom of my bump is going to fall off. I'm constantly sweating, i feel sick if I eat and starving if I don't. I just want to sleep until the next 2 weeks are over. Basically I'm over this! Feel free to add your own complaints!

unicorn I've had one phone call from my mother today and texts from 2 colleagues asking "how are you". And so it begins.

Boo to the D&V metal you definitely don't want to catch it.

Ooh just what I need! 36w5d here. I know I am so, so lucky to not have any major problems, but am so fed up of constant heartburn and lower back ache when I sit down but pain between my shoulder blades when I stand up.

And I am so tired! And can barely sleep at night for more than a couple of hours at a time cause I need to wee constantly, have restless legs and even restless arms!

Today I feel like baby's head is about to pop out between my legs as I'm walking around! He was 2/5 engaged a week ago and I reckon he's moved further down as bits of my tummy are looking quite flabby now.

Am lucky that I am able to work from home until due date, but I can't focus on anything, as I am so excited about meeting this little guy :)

Nice to hear there are lots of others in the same boat!!

I'm 40+2 and fed up too!! Everything hurts, back hips, legs... I've got massive varicose veins down there which have caused me hell since 10 weeks!!! Now to add to that I have piles too!! Also got carpal tunnel syndrome and am getting barely any sleep. Going for a week hourly throughout the night and have raging heartburn! Literally drinking 600ml gaviscon a week.

I have had no Braxton hicks or andy signs of anything happening. Last night the baby was so active and pushing right down on my cervix as if about to come out!!

I also have a 2.5 year old who has suddenly turned into the devil child this week... Anyone else experienced this?? Not sure if it's baby related or just bad luck!!

Right there we go rant over - that feels better!!!

Quodlibet · 13/07/2016 07:29

Limes my 2.7 yr old has been waaaay more difficult than usual too - whole days of being very belligerent, grumpy, whiny...and she is massively sleep resistant at the moment. I am guessing she knows that change is in the air.

I will be 32 weeks tomorrow and I have found my people on this thread. I fucking hate being pregnant. I have had an "easy" pregnancy, but I have bitched and moaned my way through it. My consolations are: that I am nearly 32 weeks so the end is in sight, this is dc2 and I never have to do this again and it's a girl (we already have a DS).

I have a few days booked in London on my own (BLISS!) when my mat leave starts and you 37 weekers have got me worried I won't cope Sad

WellErrr · 13/07/2016 07:43

Limes have you git splints for the carpal tunnel to wear at night? They really help.

So far I've escaped it this pregnancy.....!

Knackered today. Children got me up at half 6.

AndYourBirdCanSing · 13/07/2016 07:45

SewSlapdash I am 32 weeks on Thursday and had enough. I had twins before this which was bloody hard and I swore never to have more... 5 years later enter surprise baby number 3 Blush

I feel in so much pain with back, pelvis, under and around my bump. Still getting sickness and having moments of hormonal RAGE.

All good fun!

Does your maternity leave start at 37 weeks?

LimesMum · 13/07/2016 09:29

Thanks - yes I have splints which are really helpful.

Glad it's not just me with a devil toddler then!!

SewSlapdash · 13/07/2016 13:21

36+1 YourBird. Re London, the plan is that I have a few days at home to recover and then go off, so hopefully London will be ok!

Oh and yes to RAGE.

36+4.

I've just read a trending thread on a woman who was 36 weeks pregnant with DD2 (DD1 was about 4 at the time) when she lost her husband to cancer. The baby has just turned 2.

Then I felt guilty about bitching and moaning.

But I'm still tired. And constipated. And have heartburn. And the older two are acting up (although they were better yesterday). Six and a half days of work left. Not that anyone is counting.

jollyjester · 16/07/2016 01:43

Hey all

So I'm no longer pregnant!

Was induced this morning at 9 and my little girl arrived at 1954 this evening. Shes absolutely perfect and for all my moaning and giving off up until now I'd do it all again in an instant.

Wiahing everyone else speedy respite from pregnancy problems and healthy babies.

WellErrr · 16/07/2016 07:31

Congratulations!!!!

35+1 for me today.

headinthecloud · 16/07/2016 07:54

Congratulations jollyjester!

I'm 35 weeks. Bored, uncomfortable and everything is swollen.
Trying hard to enjoy my last few weeks but it's not happening Confused
