Loss of symptoms

Sorry if this is a bit long.

I'm 10 weeks pregnant, I had a scan at 7 weeks which was perfect and saw the heartbeat.

I woke up in the middle of the night on Wednesday with a horrible pain in my stomach. It was quite low down, felt tight and sore and lasted about 20-30 minutes.

Then yesterday morning I woke up and it seemed as if all my symptoms had disappeared.
I have no nausea, my boobs aren't as full or sore, and my belly is smaller than it has been.

I saw the doctor yesterday who checked my urine and said I have a uti so gave me antibiotics. She said I won't get a scan unless I have severe pain or bleeding. I can't help but worry that something has happened to the baby. I even looked into getting a private scan but there's none available until 2 days before my 12 week scan.

I'm just wondering if anyone has been through something similar or has any advice on how I can relax?!

I'm sure it's nothing. Can you pay for a private scan? Usually £100-150 in London. Not sure about rest of U.K. My symptoms came and went. Also all pregnancies are different. Eg didn't have sore boobs with second by did with first. Sickness also tailed off around 10-12 weeks and then came back with a vengeance. I'd go for a scan if you can.

Sorry - you mentioned the private scan. Are there really no appointments for that long? You're out of London then I guess?

Thanks jelly no I'm in the southwest. There are a couple of other places I could go but they're a couple of hours travel and there's no guarantee I'd get an appointment quickly.

My symptoms haven't been bad this time round anyway. I haven't had any sickness only mild nausea that's come and gone. I just can't help feeling that something's not right and two weeks is a long time to wait for my scan!

I know the feeling. I had a couple of wobbles in early pregnancy with ds1 and spent a bloody fortune at the fetal medicine centre! I'm afraid then my only other advice to put your mind at rest if you're really worried is to go to a & e and see if they'll scan you. I'm sure they will if you're ok to wait. You may need to exaggerate the pain a little.
