C section after uterine inversion

I had a uterine inversion with my last DC.

I've been told I'll have to have a Csec next time around, which is fine. (I really don't want to go through that again!)

Does anyone know how many weeks I'd have the section at?

39/40 most likely

Thanks.

Probably should have me tioned DC was born at 37+6, would that make a difference?

Unlikely. Elective CS are not advisable before 39/40 unless there is a medical reason to do so. This is to reduce the incidence of respiratory distress syndrome (more likely prior to 39/40 if not laboured). If you needed a CS earlier they may advise for you to have steroids prior

You'll likely be booked in at 39+ weeks but be advised to have a emcs if you go in to labour beforehand. It would technically end up being a emcs but it would be a planned, unscheduled section rather than an actual emergency iyswim.
