Hiya ladies

Im currently 36 weeks pregnant. And totally fed up. After having my DS at 31 weeks almost 5 yrs ago Ive never been this far before so I dont really know whats normal. My hospital is 40 mins away so if I can avoid that journey I will.

I also have low fluid levels, last measurement on wed just gone was just below 7cm left round the baby, they did explain that i would get pain but tbh I think I was being a bit naive about how much pain. Night times are horrendous. For e.g. last night I went to bed at around 11pm, I was up all night with horrible backache (upper and lower), belly ache, BH's, shooting pains in my hoohah, horrible horrible leg cramps, heartburn and feeling sicky. Not to mention getting up to pee at half 12, half 1, half 2, every hour basically. Its still no better today. They have given my co-codomol to take but told me not to take more than 8 in 24 hours, So far the most Ive taken in 24 hours is 4. I have used hot water bottles. I cant really get in the bath because Im home alone and the pain in my legs is too bad for me to get myself out. The bloody shower is broke. I am very close to breaking down into a heap of tears on the floor.

I am at the hospital again tomorrow anyway for growth scan, uterine doppler scan and another fluid check and will hopefully get a date for my section and will be able to see an end to all this. I love being pregnant and I am so greatful to get this far after 5mc's but I really dont know how much more pain I can take

Oh Julezboo - I'm sorry you are feeling so bad. I don't know about some of the pains but I recognise others and am suffering them too - the sharp pains, the cramps, the BH, heartburn and sicky feeling especially.

If you are worried, call the midwife and explain how you are feeling - that's what they are there for. Do you have a Triage bit to your delivery suite? They might be your best bet.

Hang in there. Not long to go.

Are you sure you will be ok on the floor what about getting up ect...Can you not sleep on th e sofa if you dont want to go upstairs..

I had reduced fluid (suspected SPROM at 21-22 weeks) had dd at 36weeks via csection.. the deepest part of fluid was under 1 cm!! for the 15weeks... tbh I cant really remember much of thepain ect as she moved (it was 1996) From what I can remember it was more intense.. and she was breech so feet kept dropping into the birth canal or so it felt!!!!!

Good luck tommorrow..

thanks 2plusone, Ill be on the floor in the bedroom so if i get stuck he can help me up anyway lol! I usually find it comfier down on the hard floor. I will be sleeping on a matress though not just the floor.

Im hoping they give me my section date tomorrow! But blimey 1cm! Mine were at 7cm's last week. We'll see what they are again tomorrow.
