When did you tell work?

Getting a bit ahead of myself at the moment as only 4 1/2 weeks lol but I'm deciding whether to tell my work before my first appointment so I can take it off paid or just take a day/half day holiday. The paranoid side of me doesn't want to tell them until at least after first scan....

I know it won't go down well so that's something for me to consider but at the same time they will have to find out eventually anyway.

When did you tell/plan to tell?

25 weeks. The only reason I held off so long was because I was consulting for this firm at the time and had been offered a permanent position on really good terms. But it was taking forever to sign off the offer by some big cheese or other, so I had to cling on and on till it was all signed and sealed!

I told my manager really early (history of mc so having lots of extra monitoring appointments) but won't tell everyone else. I'm waiting to see who asks first once I start to show!
