What do people recommend (in the UK)?

Erdinger or the brew dog nanny state are both pretty good... though I a couldn't always find them in the shops

Bavaria. Becks Blue has a weird after taste.

I've done varied taste tests this pregnancy.

Sainsburys alcohol free czech lager is the best.

I thought bavaria was horrible! And becks blue has the advantage of being sold in wetherspoons, if you're out.

Bavaria is ok- will have to try nanny state!

I also like the Sainsburys Czech lager. It's sold in single bottles.

I usually love Cobra, one of my top 3 lagers, but the alcohol free one is beyond vile. So disappointing!

Sainsburys alcohol free fizzy wine isn't too bad if really cold. You get to pop the cork too

LisatheSimpson - agreed! I have tried Schloer and found that all my teeth rotted in one go. Hey ho, not too long to go until the real thing, but still it surely can't be that hard to make a decent substitute
