Hi,

I'm 15 weeks pregnant and our local gym doesn't do antenatal swimming classes or yoga. Does anyone know of a really good DVD on Yoga or Pilates I can motivate myself to use at home?

I don't know, but was thinking about this myself.

I have a couple of DVDs both are from amazon

Simple Yoga For Pregnancy - didn't really like it, seemed quite dated in style

Prenatal Yoga (Gaiam)- was better with 3 diff people to follow depending on your trimester

I don't have this one
Sitaram Mother Nurture Yoga from Yogamatters.com but it might be worth a look - they run lots of courses in Brixton

Am waiting for the highly recommended 'rajashree's pregnancy yoga ' to arrive from states, esp good for people who've done yoga for a while and want to be challenged apparently.... I'll let you know...........

The Shiva Rea DVD - which I think is the same one mentioned by theBlonde - is very good. I'd never done yoga before and it's helpful to have someone to follow whichever trimester you're in (the moves are increasingly modified the more preg you are).

You may find it a bit dull if you're already a yoga nut but it's just right for me ... although I don't recommend emulating the awful all in one leotards they all sport!
