do GPs have dopplers for checking h/b or is it only midwives?

have been having stabby cramps today and am a bit worried

midwife not in the surgery today so wondered whether i ciould ask for a gp to check the heartbeat

Fairly certain the GPs I saw had dopplers...little hand held doberrys that let you hear the heartbeat, yes?

Yes. I went to GP for emergency app (bleeding) he used the Doppler.

Our GP has a doppler. In fact he will do pg appts if mw not available.
