Multivitamins in pregnancy

Can anyone recommend any multivitamins designed for pregnancy that don't make you gag?!

I've been taking Pregnacare but swallowing it makes me feel sick and it's becoming harder everyday! I don't want to just buy another brand without hearing other people's views as they're not cheap!

Thank you

Hi! The pregnacare tables and sanatogen tablets both made me throw up (right up to 24weeks!) but I got the pregnacare liquid a couple of weeks ago and touch wood I seem fine taking that. It doesn't taste amazing but it stays down! 😊

I got some from myou midwife because of this problem, they were something ridiculous like 98p (compared with the £6. Odd I'd been paying for ones that made me sick) they sell them at my doctors too (had to ask at reception) so might be worth a try.

Boots own brand are meant to be slightly less nausea-inducing I think?

Seven seas ones are really good they're in a purple packet and don't make me feel sick at all and boy am I sick easily!

I'm using the Swisse brand, I've been fine with them but then I'm ok with pregnacare as well so hard to know if they will suit you. I've found them good though

I've been taking tesco pregnancy melts all the way through. Refused to take the pregnacare ones on the grounds that I heard they made loads of women feel sick.

I've had this problem, really couldn't take multivitamins as they were all so massive and made me vomit. For a while I took individual folic acid and vitamin D, but I've recently discovered the 7 seas trying for a baby tablets (they contain all the same stuff as the pregnancy vitamins, not sure if the 7 seas pregnancy multivitamins are the same size) and they are lovely and tiny. I think they are 99p from bodycare for a months supply. I'd tried pregnacare and asdas own brand and some from sainsburys, but these are very easy to swallow. 32 weeks now and wish I'd discovered them sooner!

Having not tried the other brands I'm afraid I can't compare, but I started on the 'centrum during pregnancy' tablets since I found out at 5/6 weeks and still on them now at 15w3d and had no problems or sickness caused by them! Hope this helps :)
