Bleeding at 15 weeks!

I am 15 weeks pregnant and started bleeding on Saturday night. I went to A&E they did blood and urine tests which came back fine and sent me home. I now have to just wait to recieve an appointment for a scan with Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit, which could be a few days, to make sure the baby is ok. I am very scared and don't like all this waiting, still bleeding though it seems to come and go.

talk to ur gp about te fact that ur so anxiuos tey mite be able to get u in for an emergancy scan or something would put ur mind at ease - try not to get too stressed or worried hun you'll do urself no favours

I wouldn't bother with your GP. I would ring the EPAU for advice. Are you getting any discomfort/pain in your abdomen? If not I honestly don't think you've got anything to worry about. But the staff at the EPAU will be best able to advise you. They might even be able to squeeze you in a bit earlier if you ask.

Thanks for your message! Just got a call from the EPU and they have given me an appointment for this afternoon, so that's good news. Fingers crossed it's all fine.

Have a slight pain, kind of a dull period type pain. I have told them that though.

Good luck. It may be nothing but at least the EPU will be able to pin point where the bleed is coming from.

All the best for this afternoon, hopefully it is nothing to worry about

Thanks again for all your messages of support. Good news I am pleased to report. As I only had a scan last week they didn't do another one, but they checked for the baby's heartbeat and everything seems fine. I am very pleased and relieved as I am sure you can imagine! I have to go back again next week for another appointment and the doctor said they will check everything is still fine again then. Very scarey experience, but very glad it's been a happy outcome!
