6 weeks yesterday. Not feeling sick yet. Totally different to last pregnancy when I was sick +++ by now. When does MS typically start?

This time round (fourth), m/s started at 5 weeks; however all pregnancies are different! You may be one of those very lucky people who don't get it at all this time!

At a guess I would say that if you were going to suffer it in any meaningful way, it would have started by the time you are 8 weeks (someone will come along and prove me wrong now!)

Hulababy · 22/01/2007 09:50

Any time in those first weeks, although not everyome suffers from morning sickness. I had it from 4 weeks to about 16/17 weeks.

belgo · 22/01/2007 09:51

Hi, with my first pregnancy, I had it directly after conception, but with my second, nothing significant until 8 weeks or so. Hopefully you won't get it badly!

lizziemun · 22/01/2007 10:26

With my first i didn't have any although i didn't find out i was pg untill 10 weeks.

This time i didn't test untill 7 weeks i had 2 maybe 3 weeks of odd bouts of ms.

gardeninggirl · 22/01/2007 15:01

Guess each is different - mine started at about week 7 - so yours may be just be biding its time for another week!

DD1 not sick until 11 weeks (think it started just after i said something like "oh, if you look after yourself, eat well and rest you don't get morning sickness" duh..) didn't stop until 30 weeks.

DD2 sick at 5 weeks, stopped at 22 weeks.

I never had it at all in two pregnancies. A life threatening complication, yes, but sickness, no.

USAUKMum · 22/01/2007 16:13

My first two pgs m/s started before AF due until about 20 wks. Last pg never had it.

Greyclay · 22/01/2007 16:57

I didn't start feeling ill until about 7 - 8 weeks and then had to troubleshoot day-long, low-grade nausea until recently (I'm 16 weeks now). I remember thinking myself at about 6weeks along..."I feel great! I must be one of the lucky ones!" Sigh! I found it reassuring to read that it really is different for every woman. I count myself lucky to not have had my head in the toilet 6 times a day. However, the nausea was a real drag.

PinkTulips · 22/01/2007 16:58

8 weeks both times for me

mummydoc · 22/01/2007 17:03

I reckon 1 min post conception both times ! actually first time i threw up over the pregnancy test stcik thing as i was watching it , both pgs sick until and during delivery!!!

MrsBadger · 22/01/2007 17:03

Mine started a week after AF due but [touch wood] seems to be subsiding now am 10 weeks, although it may just be more bearable now that I've found a coping strategy (eat all the time).

3sEnough · 22/01/2007 17:04

AS soon as I tested (4 weeks!) with both dds but not until 6 1/2 weeks with ds.

Thanks everyone. I realise every pregnancy is different, but this is such a change from how I felt last time.
I could be eating my words in a few days time however
