Hi

Been told my baby's head is engaged at 30 weeks. Reasonable amount of pressure down there and groin pain.

Has anyone experienced engagement this early and what has it meant for you? Has baby come early or stayed put?!

It happened to me and baby stayed put 40+8! I was pleased when it happened as bump dropped and meant I could breathe normally!

Thanks!

Similar story here - head was engaged pretty early but didn't deliver until 40+5 after an induction (which didn't get her on her way either!) So no, it doesn't necessarily mean early labour!

Thanks Chloe

Engaged from 31 weeks. I was signed off and told to rest but that was because I was already at risk of prem labour and my cervix was soft. I went to 40+5

Thanks Dixie.

Yep, at 24 and 26 weeks. I'm had t g on immediate bed rest, it was horrific. I had a cervical stitch too. In the end I delivered at 36 but only because I basically stayed horizontal....good luck....

Blimey badger, that sounds tough.

Were you guys m in pelvic pain from early engagement? All of a sudden my groin is killing and have period pain. Don't know whether to mention it to anyone / take it easier or girl up.
