Hi y'all, Just joined site and am anxious to get chatting! I was wondering if anyone knows anything about available scans in ayrshire? I keep reading about nuchal scans only available at Queen Mothers, but dont know how recent that info is. Have been searching web for ages with no luck. I am 38 years old, and thinking of nuchal scan, as i am a major worry wort, and cant stop thinking, think i am getting so many greys already and i am only 5 weeks pregnant. Does it all depend on your area what scans they provide?

I am 35 and just had nuchal scan at 14 weeks at Queen Mothers. If you are booked in for your scan at the Queen Mothers they will send you info about nuchal screening and ask if you want ti or not.

Hi,
Thanks for that. I will probably not be going to Queen Mothers as will prob send me to Cross House, as i am not in Glasgow Area. I am hoping they offer it there too, or else i guess i will have to go private. Hope your scan went fine.
