Between pee, amniotic fluid and discharge? Blush

You can get swabbed at the hospital it's quick and easy for them to do

When my waters went it was a v v distinctive smell of sex!

Amniotic fluid smells sweet and a bit like semen plus the flow of it keeps replenishing until delivery. You'll find if your lay down it might ease off because baby's head acts as a cork and when you stand up and walk about it will start flowing again

Anotherdayanotherdollar · 20/06/2016 21:20

Yep! It's the smell that's the give away... if you're worried call your midwife or go to your maternity unit and get checked out!

Straightjacketneeded · 20/06/2016 21:20

Did I get that the wrong way round if your standing the baby's head acts as a cork and if your lay down you'll find the flow increases sorry baby brain!

Lie down for 30minutes and then stand up quickly. If it's waters there'll be a gush and a distinctive smell.

Discharge smells a bit yogurty.

You'll know if your waters go. It just keeps coming out and feels so warm, there's no control of it.
