I know it sounds like a daft question for a 3rd timer - but I never had ANY with DS1 and only had them for about 2 weeks before DS2 was born. So how early can they start???

It isn't daft - I never had any with DD1 and haven't had any with this one ane am now at 33 wks. I thought they started around wk 28?

I'm 32 weeks - been having them for at least 2 weeks now

gothicmama · 19/01/2007 18:14

they start quite early on but become more noticable towards the end of the pregnancy

from 24 weeks for me iirc...certainly bad enough at 28 weeks to be admitted for monitoring...thinking i was in labour !

Thanks everyone - just wondered as I'm nearly 20 weeks with DC3 and I could have sworn I had one about 1/2hr ago!
