I'm 6 +2 and the last few days have started suffering with bloating after each meal. I've cut down on meal sizes but doesn't seem to be making a difference. Anyone else had similar this early in pregnancy?

Yes, it's partly water retention. It will settle down later on.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Yes! It was easier if I ate early so it didn't affect my sleep. It's worst around 6-10 weeks.

Oh - and avoid fizzy drinks, particularly if you're walking!

Yup. I'm 6 weeks and am so bloated I currently look like I'm about 5 months pregnant most of the time. Sad

Glad it's not just me. Making sure I'm eating early and drinking lots of water so hopefully minimise it as much as possible! X

I was huge with bloating, then around week 12ish it got better and my bump actually shrank quite a lot. Pretty much happened over 24 hours as well so it was a bit of a shock! It's such a relief when the bloating goes away though.
