Hiya im 18 years old and found out about a month ago now that im pregnant. About 9 weeks now. The thing is ive had lots of people remark on how big ive gotten recently, ive out on well over half a stone and im hardly eating (due to no appertite wot so ever and really bad morning sickness) the other day i went for my first meeting with the midwife(at this time we thought i was about 12 weekd not 9!) she couldnt find a heartbeat or even feel the baby but also said i was big for how far gone i was and asked if twins run in the family. just wondered if anyone who had twins had experienced the same symptoms as me. oh and i also have a fluttering feeling in my stomach quite alot.
thanks xx

Do you have a scan booked? I'm a little confused as to why you thought you were twelve weeks, but are now nine, if you haven't yet had a scan to confirm dates.

I didn't get big early at all, but I did have much worse morning sickness with twins. I didn't really get the fluttering until a bit later neither, but I did find that I felt movement far earlier than with singles. Good luck with it!

When I was 9 weeks, I measured 12 and the midwife asked me if twins run in the family too, they do, both my mother and maternal grandmother have them! I was also very sick ( I wasn't sick at all with my first pregnacy). It turned out to be just one baby and she weighed a pretty average 7lbs 8oz.
