My baby has an ovarian cyst (they think)

I'm 34 weeks and have growth scans every 3 weeks. Today they picked up what they think is an ovarian cyst on her left ovary.

I know it doesn't sound serious but I'm so scared, what if it's not an ovarian cyst? What else could it be? I'm seeing a specialist on Tuesday but know I'll be worried sick until then. Has anyone else experienced this? How could it just appear when every other scan has been fine?

My DD had an ovarian cyst and raised AFP levels which is an indicator for cancer. She was about 4 months old though. When we went for a re-scan the cyst had just disappeared and that was that! Try not to panic X

My baby had a ovarian cyst picked up at 20 weeks but it was gone by 26 weeks. My friend had the same. They are incredibly common. Good luck X
