Pregnant after multiple miscarriages

So got my BFP this morning.
I have a DS, and have been trying for number two for a few years.
Had two losses, one in May 15 and one in Dec 15, both before 12 weeks.
Now that I'm pregnant again I'm terrified! Can't get excited as I know it may well not last.

Does anyone have any stories of successful pregnancies after more than one loss?

yes, I lost 2 before PFB.

There's a really good thread for support but I can't remember what it's called, sorry! Every so often, it gets updated with more healthy babies, so is a good boost for optimism.

Yes, 2 losses then my pfb. I remember how terrified I was throughout the whole pregnancy though and it affected my bonding with ds. He was around 6 months old before I accepted he was here to stay!!

i lost 2 before PFB. And as ^ poster says it did create bonding issues for a long time as i was constantly terrified that they'd be taken away, and the self-preservation 'safety shield' i'd built up was hard to pull down after they'd arrived.
I'm trying to be more mindful about this in this pregnancy so hopefully i'll have fewer issues.

I think I'm just gonna carry on as usual and try as hard as I can not to think about it for the next few weeks. Don't want to start thinking bout the future in case it all goes wrong again.

I had 3 losses before I got to keep one.

My first pregnancy ended at 6 months when I gave birth prematurely to my little boy. Unfortunately he passed away 2 hours later. That was in 2013. Fell pregnant 2 months later & misccarried at 6 weeks. Fell pregnant 10 weeks later and miscarried at 5 weeks.

5 months later I fell pregnant and was terrified. I had scans every fortnight from 6 weeks to 16 weeks and now have a healthy 17 month old girl & I'm 3 months pregnant. Still in shock with this pregnancy as I convinced myself I'd never be lucky enough to have another!

I'm currently 21 weeks after 4 consecutive miscarriages. Do not give up hope on this pregnancy, stay strong. Try to get seen by EPU, they'll be able to arrange regular scans to make sure baby is growing properly and to put your mind at ease for a bit. Wishing you lots of luck
