Its not even like its stuck i just dont need to go. Does it sound like constipation? someone in work said its fine as long as i dont need to go!! Im about 7 weeks pregnant.

try dried fruits - looooooads of them. Always works for me and they are very good for you anyway so it can't hurt.

soft eating licorice from Lakeland
4 pieces 2-3 x a day
Works a treat.
Progesterone does make your bowel sluggish
What can happen though is the TMI ALERT
poo at the coming out end dries out adn can be very hard (literally) to pass.
I had this once (hell) and sent for the lactulose. So drink lots of water to keep hydrated

am also seven weeks and long for a normal poop. i miss them. don't worry when it comes it will be good practise for labour! drink lots of water, and wait. you can go for up to a week w/out going w/out it doing you any harm.

from experience, be careful if you dont go for several days because when you actually have to go, might be painful if its dry. and over a period of time of dryness, it can cause external hemorrhoids.

dry fruits, prune juice (when im tired of eating dry fruits) and lots of water. my gp also gave me some wonderful tablets to soften up the stuff...

sounds like constipation, progesterone does indeed slow down your bowel.
try fresh orange juice by the bucket load and some prunes in apple juice, if still no joy, ask your gp for lactualose which is perfectly safe in pregnancy.
