Could I be pregnant?

Ladies, please help me out here. I'll give you a rundown my what's happening.
I have been NTNP for 17 months (ALMOST at the point of thinking I'm infertile) My periods range from 24-29 days.
This month on cd18 I had brown bleeding when I wiped. I put in a tampon to soak it up and it was gone in a day or two. It was brown or really light pink. Right before this happened I had really bad cramping for 2 days.
I sometimes do spot before my period but it would be only for a few days leading into my period. NEVER have I spotted brown and then no period.
I have had light cramping off and on since cd18. I am now on cd 24 and still no period but now I am having hot flashes too, which I normally get before my period.
I am so confused as to what's happening here. Am I just being paranoid & the bleeding was breakthrough bleeding or could I be pregnant and the brown blood have been implantation bleeding?

HELP! I am too scared to test, I can't stand to see another negative :(

No one on here can tell you, I'm afraid. I wouldn't test yet though, it won't give you firm answers being so early. Good luck! I hope you get what you're looking for.

I'm really sorry but no one can answer that.. Of course you could be pregnant but only a test will tell you. Those symptoms could be either your period arriving or very early pregnancy.

If you have been trying for 17 months it really might be worth talking to your GP, a lot of issues with conceiving can be identified and treated now.
