Maternity Allowance

Hi,
Just wondering if any of you have put in for maternity allowance and how long you had to wait until you heard back?
I sent my forms off two weeks ago, I left work last week and will be getting my last pay tomorrow (which isn't much) I'm not sure how long I'm going to have to try and make my last wages stretch

I think I heard after 2 weeks. I can't remember exactly tho.

They took about 2-3 weeks with me but this was 2 1/2 years ago

I called them once or twice to clarify things and they were very helpful and gave me a date it would be in my account so might be worth giving them a ring
