Has anyone had a neg on day of missed period and been pregnant? Please help!

I'm a newbie here and I'd love some advice! Myself and my partner have been TTC for over a year, I've been tracking my cycles that are usually 27 days, last 2 month it was day 29 and this month I'm on day 30 and still no AF! I took a test yesterday and it was neg but I've never been this late before. My breasts have swollen and are definitely darker around the nipples. I've also been exhausted the past few days and have had cramps for over a week that feel like AF cramps. Has anyone had a neg on day of missed period and been pregnant? It would be my first pregnancy but I can't help feeling like I am pregnant this time

Yes, I had this with DC2. I took a second test 3 days later and it was positive. However, I also had an occasion when my period was very late when TTC with DC1, was convinced I was pregnant and it turned out just to be a late period. Good luck, I hope your next test is positive.

I'd test again in a couple of days and see what happens.

It's worth being aware about ectopic pregnancies though, you can have pregnancy symptoms like a missed period but no positive because hormone levels are really low. They can be quite dangerous so worth contacting your doctor if you haven't had a positive test or your period within a few days.

I've had 3 pregnancies (1MC, 2DCs). And all 3 I didn't test positive until I was 7 days late (reliable 28 day cycle). And I tested FMU every day (at least once ]). Had the faintest of BFPs at 4 days late with DC2.

Symptom spotting is a bitch when you don't trust the tests!

I tested positive with all 3 of mine several days after my period was due. I never got a BFP on the actual day. Good luck!

I'm going to wait a couple more days and test again if it's another neg I'll go to the doctors, I've never been this late before after tracking them for over a year so fingers crossed! :) I did start taking pregnacare conception last month too so hopefully that's helped us! Thanks again!
