Were your girls smaller than your boys?

Just for fun, due DC3 in a few weeks. Haven't found our the sex, have 2 DS already and will be delighted with either. My boys were both born on the 99th centile for weight this little one has consistently stayed around the 50th. Are girls statistically any smaller I wonder??

My girl was 10lb 8! Boy was 9lb 2, so not for me!

With my mum's five pregnancies, all the boys were 2 lb heavier!

I have had two girls almost exactly the same weight.

No, two 10lb babies were both girls. Boy at just under 8lb.

All similar gestation, 10-13 days late. Knowing he was a boy, we thought maybe a bit bigger, maybe 8lb something, hmm.
He is 4 now and still built like a tank and heavier than his 7 yr old sister.

Yes, she was 0.5oz lighter

Nope, 1oz heavier.

Dd was 8oz lighter than ds...same gestation

My ds was 6lb 13 and dd was 7lb15

DD was a few Oz lighter than DS but was a week earlier

I had small boy, large boy, then girl who was about halfway between their weights.

No DS was a few oz lighter

Nope but ds was born a bit earlier due to complications (he stopped growing so I was induced)

Dd born at 38+4 5lb 14oz
Ds born at 37+3 5lb 3oz

DS1 - 8lb 5oz
DD - 8lb
DS2 - 8lb 11oz

Mine were both 10lb4oz, girl first, boy second.

Looks like sex has nothing to with it thanks for all your responses. Cant wait to find out!

My biggest girl was 10lb 6oz. Had 2 boys at 9lb 12oz and 10lb 2oz.
