Acrylic nails

Silly question, I am 6 weeks pregnant and I always have acrylic nails, I wanted to get them infilled soon and I was wondering is it safe? With all the fumes and chemicals?

I've been getting my nails done throughout and am now 28 weeks

I personally wouldn't because of the fumes, but know many women who have & everything was fine.

The chemicals you breath in in the 1-2 hours you're in there are probably the same as walking down a street in a busy city. Don't stop the things you enjoy doing. Also salons must provide ppe, juSt ask for a mask if you're concerned.

The chemicals from acrylics enter your body through your nails when you have them on as well.

Actually mary, they don't. Or shouldn't, nails are dead cells so unless the technician gets liquid on your skin you're OK.
