I cried this afternoon because I passed a young, thin, stylish woman on the street and felt really jealous because I feel like a lump at the moment.

DH found me distraught on the kitchen floor holding a sliced loaf and a block of cheese. I really really wanted cheese on toast. More than anything in my life I yearned for cheese on toast. I'd had horrific HG all my pregnancy and for
The first time I actually wanted to eat something and that was cheese on toast.

I'm allergic to cheese Confused

I got really upset in 4th pregnancy because DP didn't like the sausages I bought. I can laugh about it now, but I was so bloody upset at the time Grin

I read "We need to talk about Kevin". HUGE mistake. It did not mix well with pregnancy hormones.

Last pregnancy I cried because I didn't like the chicken dish I had just made for dinner and thought the chicken would be upset and lonely because I couldn't eat it Hmm

This pregnancy I've cried at:

Britains got talent more than once

Parkrun (I used to take part until a few months before I got pregnant and the sight of the runners set me off)

A school choir singing "Let it go" in Sainsburys (I had to scuttle out pretty quickly before anyone saw me sobbing Blush)

Only 20 weeks so I'm sure I'll have more soon!

I cried for an hour solid the other night over something daft to the point I had to get in the shower to hide the sobs from DS who was getting worried mummy seemed to be losing her shit 😥

I was not even nearly as emotional in my first pregnancy this time I'm a hormonal wreck!

I cried whilst watching a crime programme because the man who was arrested wore the same style glasses as my dad. Bawled my bollocks off for about 10 minutes.

I saw a broken chair, with 3 legs, in a skip

Burst into tears about how sad it was it had been abandoned for being faulty, that no one wanted to take a chance on a broken chair
DH was ConfusedHmmShock all at once

It is now an in-joke between us for him to send me pictures of 3-legged animals. God help us if we ever see one in the park... We once saw a sausage dog with wheels instead of back legs and it took him actual days to stop laughing about it...

Last pregnancy I seemed to burst into tears over anything, it drove me mad as I'm not an emotional person generally and I hated it. This time, I haven't cried at all. I wonder if the sex of the baby has any relevance?(girl first time, boy this)

My reply ... "My rabbit died" ... I was having a full on sob about my childhood pet rabbit who had died years previous to my pregnancy

I couldn't find a bath panel I liked within budget. Cue utter hysteria. DH still speaks of it in hushed tones.

The over budget one we ordered is still leaning against the bathroom wall cost we can't work out how to fit the bastard thing...

None so far, though when I was pregnant with DD, I cried because DH bought me some rolls that had cheese on top.

I don't like them at all, but he'd gone to all that trouble just to get them for me, I felt like an ungrateful bitch.

DH was bemused.

A baby's cardigan when looking for a gift for my newborn niece (first time auntie). Had to leave the shop, it was all too upsettingly small and cute.

I cried because i was craving a steak pie for my dinner and mentioned this to my husband. At the time i was driving him to a stag night 40 minutes away. Five minutes later (whilst i was mid thought about my trip to tescos to get said pie). he said to me " instead of eating a dirty pie for dinner, why dont you have a bowl of granola?"…Angry. Que 40 minutes of hysterical crying and " you dont know how i feel"/ "you are not considerate" conversations.

Once i had dropped him off i then cried for 40 minutes on my way home because i felt bad at the way i had been. Hmm

I can laugh about it now Grin
