shooting pain in right side

[SHHHH]

Im nearly 38 weeks pregnant and a sufferer this pregnancy of sciatica and spd.

Today I have been getting an on/off shooting pain in my right side, middle (WAIST HEIGHT) towards my back (Just above my hip) iykiwm. Its a sharp pain that goes as soon as it comes and its happened quite a few times today....baby is as active as ever and other than being tired I feel ok.....

Should I be concerned...is it sciatica now in my other side..?

Hope this baby is on time as I am now getting uncomfortable....

Sounds to me like it could me the first sign of labour - in which case you probably wont be able to respond to this addition to your thread.

Thanks for the reply. I saw mw on tue and babyb is now 3/5 so maybe it was spd/sciatica along with baby engaging..???? Just fed up now.....
