Hello Ladies,
I'm a frequent visitor to the conception and infertility boards but I thought who better to ask than those who have got their BFP.
I'm currently 3dpo on my first round of 50mg Clomid, I already ovulate (unexplained infertility) and I'm very anxious in the 2ww.
How many of you had to use Clomid to help conceive? Did you already ovulate? What dosage?
Any info would be appreciated

Hi, I apparently wasn't ovulating - very irregular cycles and cysts on my ovaries but everyone seemed very reticent to diagnose PCOS. After about 18 months, was finally prescribed Clomid (50mg). Near the end of my 3rd cycle, I finally got the results from the blood test I'd had in my first cycle (no ovulation, so they wanted me to go up to 100mg) but it turned out that I'd conceived that time, so I didn't need to. I'm now 37 weeks but had resigned myself to never getting pregnant so I think I'm still slightly in shock!

Oh that's great news, I know a lot of women who don't ovulate have ovulated on clomid and got pregnant. As I already ovulate it feels like I'm just shooting in two a crowd so to speak. I don't know whether to ask for my dosage to be upped so I have more follicles.
