I think I'm around 8/9 weeks, havnt had my first visit yet or scan. This is my fourth pregnancy. But I dont feel pregnant! The nurse at the clinic tested me twice, I've had no period and my waist is getting thicker. The only thing is that in my other pregnancies I had terrible nausea first thing in the morning and all day - I wasnt sick but felt really awful, and it was followed by a ravenous hunger. I'm also still in my jeans and I'm pretty sure I couldnt do them up from quite early on the other times.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Hello, firstly congratulations......

I am now 22weeks pg with NO.3. My first two pg'cy's were identicle, no symptoms, no sickness, absolutly nothing........ I had a ds first and a dd second so it wasn't even the same sex baby causing me the same pg'cy. This one however has been a different story..........

Sickness from the start, pains, tiredness, constipation............

All is well at the moment so it just goes to show in my experience that pregnancys are not always the same and it can't always be blamed on different sex baby's either.

Unfortunately it is a waiting game but don't be worried about no symptoms. Just try to relax, you can't stop anything bad happening if it going to but as hard as it is there is not much point in worrying about it now.

Good luck.....

i,m expeecting number 5 in march and all my pregs have been very different, especially the weight gain(lost 7lb in the first 12 weeks of first pg,gained over a stone in first 12 weeks with no3 and4 ,put about 5lb on in first 12 weeks this time)also,i had no sickness or anything with no.2,with 3 and 4 i just felt sick but didnt vomit, this time i was puking 2-3 times a day from week 6-10.

with my 2nd baby,i didnt even accept i was pregnant till about week 15 cos i wasnt having any symptoms.

its true when they say no two pregnancies are the same.

Cal, I'm 13 weeks (or so) pregnant with my fourth, and although I have had awful morning sickness it has now all but subsided - whereas in my previous pregnancies it lasted until I was 15/16 weeks. Also, I am still comfortably fitting into my normal clothes, whereas with dd2 (no. 2) and ds (no.3) I was already needing a bigger size by this stage! To be honest despite the m/s I found it difficult to believe it was truly happening until I had my scan last week and saw the little dot kicking and turning somersaults (awwwww...)

So yes, all pregnancies are/can be different - don't worry about the lack of symptoms as yet and congratulate yourself on the lack of morning sickness so far!!

congrats
yes every pg is different
I'm due with my 3rd

my first-no nausea at all and didn't show for ages

my second- strted to show at about 12 weeks and some nausea at the beginning (about 12 weeks)

this pg-looked 5 months pg about 3 secs after I found out I was pregnant lol and felt constantly sick as a dog for about 5 months

so pretty much totally different
