Is this normal?

I am currently about 7 weeks pregnant and I don't really have any symptoms. I am taking Boots Pregnancy Support Plus, but apart from my boobs hurting last week and a bit of cramping I've had no symptoms, no nausea, no cravings and everything I've read makes me seem like this isn't normal. Am I just really fortunate?

Yes! Enjoy!!

It is normal, yes. Sore boobs and a bit of cramping were the extent of my symptoms with DD1. Congratulations.

Thats a relief. I only found out at the weekend and everywhere goes on about all these symptoms but never says don't worry if you don't have any.

I didn't really get symptoms until about week 9-10. It's normal - enjoy this time before you do get any (although some women get no symptoms).

MrsJoeyMaynard · 13/05/2016 07:21

Symptoms aren't guaranteed.

DS1 - other than missing periods, the only symptom I had until he was big enough for me to feel him kicking was being more tired than normal.

DS2 - slightly more symptoms in that I noticed my sense of smell had improved, but nothing else except being more tired.

They're both generally healthy children now.

Currently about 10 weeks pregnant with DC3 and I did think at first it was going to be a similar story, but I've had a bit of nausea this time. But not extreme nausea.

My midwife said it depends on how your body reacts to the hormones. So I reckon it's normal

julfin · 13/05/2016 07:53

Both normal and fortunate. Congratulations!

There's still time! I have been fine with dd2 until 9 weeks and then I felt like hell until about week 14. Enjoy it while it lasts

Porcupinetree · 13/05/2016 09:41

With my DD 3 years ago I had no symptoms til sickness kicked in at about 9 weeks . So I'd say it was normal.

BeardMinge · 13/05/2016 10:49

Enjoy. I didn't have even a hint of morning sickness, it was great. Just a bit tired and sore boobs.

crazymammy · 13/05/2016 13:40

Yes!
Totally normal. You're one of the lucky ones haha!
I was too Smile

underrugsswept · 13/05/2016 13:42

I'm 9 weeks today and all I have is VERY slightly sore boobs and I'm a bit more tired than usual. I've felt nauseous a few times but only very mildly.

Parney · 13/05/2016 13:48

I could have written this myself Effy, 7 weeks tomorrow and other than the many tests and lack of period I've no notable symptoms. I'm more tired and hungry, but those are subjective and more than likely in my head. Boobs hurt now and again and I was very cranky before missed AF. I don't even need to pee more!Blush

Symptoms started at 9 weeks for me. Enjoy while it lasts!
