How did your first baby kicks feel?

Am excited as I felt the first movements during the last few days, always in the late afternoon. They feel like little bubbles bursting - quite a classic I believe! I am 18 weeks by the way. In my first pregnancy it took three weeks from first movements to them getting stronger and more regular.

It's nice to have baby check in regularly! I just hope that he or she is as calm a baby as DS1 was who was as good a sleeper in the womb as outside...

I always thought the first ones felt like your hand would feel if you scooped a fish out of a fish tank Grin

Ohh live fish is a good comparison!

Genuinely, the only way I've ever been able to describe it is as if a teeny tiny human is in my stomach squirming and kicking. . . I'm clearly not as creative with my word imagery!

Like a fluttery feeling. Having them right now actually. I'm 14 weeks pregnant with dc2

Like popcorn going off in my tummy

Like bubbles gently popping while you cook porridge on a low heat!

If you poke the inside of you cheek with your tongue - that's how mine feel! X

Like bubbles rolling up the inside of a glass. Then after a while like when you hold in a fart Blush but further forward

I often tried to decide whether I was feeling baby or gas!
