I'm approx 6/7 weeks pregnant and my hair has suddenly become so dandruffy, it actually feels itchy it as that bad!
I've never had dandruff before and this is so severe. I never had dandruff when I was pregnant with my daughter, can it be a pregnancy symptom? And how can I safety get rid or at least minimise it?

I had this with my first pregnancy, I was recommended Wella Shampeeling by a hairdresser friend, it really did help

I have been using a mint and tea tree shampoo its helped quite a bit

My scalp was crazy itchy in the first trimester, think aggrevated by eczema. Hairdresser recommended avoiding Head & Shoulders as harsh, instead used Keratase derma-calm. Pricey I must say but managed to get 20% off via website vouchers. It really worked though.
The itchiness has come back a bit in the third trimester as well but my is wonderfully thick for now! 😊

I've had this since around the same time! Now 26 weeks and still have it although not noticeable to others. Most of the normal dandruff treatments are not recommended in pregnancy and I've not found a shampoo that helped. Watching keenly, will try the mentions above.
