early pregnancy bleeding

Hi everyone,

I am around 5 weeks pregnant, only found out a few days ago and then this morning had a bleed. It was very light red/dark pink and a moderate amount. Hasn't happend again since. I went to the early pregnancy unit and they said to early to scan and took bloods to check if my levels are increasing and I have to go back on Sunday.

Anyone else had this before? Really worried that I'm having a miscarriage.

I am 6+1. Started bleeding at work today. Came home and rested. No more bleeding all day until I just popped to the loo and have some brown discharge.

I have no idea what is happening, EPU said I have to wait and see what happens. If I continue to bleed for a prolonged period it is likely to be a mc. Feel scared and upset. Desperately hoping it's not bad news.

Just to add my sister had bleeding with her DD around the same time pregnancy wise and it was nothing to worry about. There are some positive stories out there.

Sorry to hear your going through it to, it is horrible not knowing. I haven't had anymore bleeding but had a small amount of discoloured discharge this evening to. X
