weird question....scratchy cervix

I'm 18 weeks pregnant and for a little while earlier on today (on and off less than an hour) it feel like my cervix was itchy and irritated. The sensation gave me the feeling that I wanted to put my finger up there and scratch it (sorry - tmi) ConfusedBlush

Has anyone else had this feeling? It's freaked me out a bit. Second baby and I don't remember feeling this sensation when pregnant with ds.

Could it be an infection, like thrush?

No, it's too high up for thrush. And the feeling didn't last long - it's gone now. Just a bit weird Confused
