37 weeks pregnant , period pains ?

Hi all :),

I'm 37 weeks pregnant and having quite bad period pains for the last week or so and having sharpe pains in my side plus back ache? Also been having sharpe-ish pains down below, could this be a sign of labour? It's my first pregnancy so don't really know much about it.. Any info anyone could give would be much appreciated.. Thanks my lovelys

Probably body preparing for labour, however this doesn't necessarily mean anything will happen soon. Also ligaments stretching to the max right now can cause a lot of pain and discomfort
