Do something nice for yourself this weekend...

Ok, this is kinda following on from the AND thread on the antenatal clubs, but I have decided that seeing as many of us are feeling pretty crap for one reason or another (depression, sickness etc.) that this weekend we should ALL do at least one nice very selfish thing for ourselves. Treat ourselves, dye your hair, or buy a new nail varnish and give yourself a manicure. Buy a really big cake and eat it without guilt, sit in bed and read a whole book, make yourself a really nice virgin cocktail or smoothie. Spend a whole day watching sex and the city dvds, get a haircut, buy a luxurious moisturiser, buy a whole bunch of trashy magazines and read them instead of a broadsheet this weekend! Get made up and put on something lovely even if it is just to pop to the local pub for a white wine spritzer!
Ok, I'm doing all those things! What are you going to do for yourself this weekend?

mmmm White wine spritzer sounds good. I'm only 6 weeks gone, coudl i get away with it??

lovely thought bumperlicious!! Just go for more on the spritzer side Honey - and enjoy .

Question tho... is it ok to use hair dye. I'm not quite sure why I have avoided it for the last six months??? So, it woud be a nice refresher to do.

Great thread - thanks Bumperlicious. Am now off to the village sans LOs to get my hair dyed and have a look around the shops. Problem is, not sure if I'll come back

Hope everyone else enjoys their "do something nice for yourself" weekend...

If I can be at all bothered to get out of my pjs today I am going to give myself £10 pocket money to go and buy whatever I fancy! No guilt! Plus, yesterday I made the most gorgeous cake recipe here and today I am going to indulge. Seriously, this cake is divine, except I used raspberries instead of blackberries. Hope you all enjoy your treats. Kiwibella, I had a semi perm dye recently and I checked in my book and it said it's ok look here .
